File sharing made easy
If you have a network in your home or
office in which two or more computers share files (Word
docs, spreadsheets, downloaded music and videos, etc.), have
we got a deal for you!
A network attached storage device
(NAS) is a small box -- about the size of 2-3 paperback
books -- that contains (in this case) an 80GB hard disk
drive and a network port. It connects directly to your local
network and allows several PCs to simultaneously access the
files it holds. It operates completely in the background
which means it's extremely simple to use and it won't make
you change the way you do things one little bit. It not only
makes file sharing easy, but it's also great for safe,
secure and speedy backups of your important data. Best of
all, it doesn't run Windows, and that makes it extremely
reliable (sad, but oh so true). We've installed a number of
these devices for networks of 3 to 15 PCs and many of them
have been running 24/7 for several years without so much as
a hiccup.
At one time, the cost of an NAS device
like this was close to $1000. Now, for a limited time, we're
selling them for just $299! Same model -- super deal!! So if
this sounds like something you can use (and who can't?),
contact us immediately, because at this great price, they
won't be available for long.
If you have questions about any of the
above, ask away.

Sell Your Cell
Cell phones aren't made to last
forever and many of us replace them every year or two (if
only to get the cool new models). But what can you do with
the old one? Until recently, the choices have been to 1.)
toss it in the trash; 2.) pitch it into a special recycle
bin (mostly found in electronics stores); or 3.) give it to
one of the charitable organizations that resets them to only
dial 911 and gives them to domestic abuse victims (contact
your cell service provider or your local police for more
info).
Let's face it, the first two choices
stink! Throwing away something that obviously still has
value is almost as annoying as an itch you can't scratch.
And although we certainly wouldn't discourage you from
choice number 3, we're pleased to let you know about another
option You can sell your cell at
SellYourCell.
Simply go to the site, look up your
phone by make and model to find out how much they'll give
you for it. If you accept their offer, they'll send you a
postage-paid box, or you can save time by printing a
pre-paid shipping label yourself. Once they receive your
phone and verify that it's in working order, they'll send
you a check.
We currently have an old phone winging
it's way to these folks. If you're interested in how they
do, drop us an e-mail and we'll be glad to keep you posted.

Computer repair BEFORE you need it
Your computer can be your best friend
or your biggest headache (if it's like ours, it might even
mix metaphors). MCS has a great new service that can keep
you and yours out of trouble. No, we won't chaperone your
kids on their next date; we won't show you how to pay no
taxes legally and we won't even teach you how to cure that
hook or slice. What we will do, however, is schedule regular
visits to your home or office on a monthly, quarterly or
semi-annual basis (your choice) and perform a number of
services designed to extend the life of your PC, avert the
need for expensive repairs and keep it running in top
condition. We believe so strongly that this will save you
from problems that, if any part inside your computer fails
while it’s covered by MCS, we'll replace that part FREE!
For complete details on this great new
maintenance program and the accompanying warranty,

us if you have questions or would like to sign up.
